  1. Hi I waited 2 hours for a massive windows security update, and after it finished, my NXT 3 had been changed to some simper version where in place of EDIT VIDEOS is only CAPTURE VIDEO. When I find old NXT 3 PROJ files, and right click - OPEN, it cannot find the version of NXT 3 that was used prior to windows updates. I tried to go to programs, control panel, and do a REPAIR, but it called for a source file RCPROD.mci that was no longer on my PC, not even in windows.old. I have a video wave project that was half way done. I also tried compatibility troubleshooter, no luck. I popped in the NXT 2 install disc, and found RCPROD file, but it wasn't compatible. I'm using windows 8 64 bit dell inspiron Please save me from buying NXT 3 again.
  2. Greetings, Just bought the Roxio HD Pro game capture card for my son, set up the hardware and installed the software from the CD/DVD. All seemed to go smoothly until we tried to launch the application. I window opens (the process is listed as LaunchPad.exe in Task Manager) but, other than a message stating something like 'Connecting to our servers, please wait', there really is not much to this window and it generally looks broken. There are two buttons, 'Next' and 'Cancel' but, clicking on any of these causes an error modal to pop up stating "Attempted an unsupported operation". The only way to close the application is to kill it using task manager We have also uninstalled the application, download the service pack 2 version from the Roxio website, installed that but, exactly the same problem. This is the laptop it is being installed on. This particular one runs Windows 7 64bit - http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/pscmisc/vac/us/product_pdfs/HP_250_G2_Notebook_PC_DS.pdf Any and all help will be mcuh appreciated. He has been waiting for this card for a looong time and it sucks to be so close, but yet so far to being able to use it. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Constant Freezing, Will Not Quit

Ever since I got this thing a month ago I've had nothing but issues with the software, both the capture and editing software. The capture software *usually* works but every now and then it just doesn't work for the day and I get nothing but freezing. For the editing software it's just generally very very sluggish and freezes a lot. 30 minutes ago the capture software decided to freeze shortly after opening, and I pressed End Task.. and IT STILL HASN'T QUIT. Here are my system specs in case they are relevant: Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz 4GB RAM GTX 560 Windows 8-64 bit

    Videowave Won't Open

Hi, I've used videowave for a couple of months now and it worked fine for a while. Now it won't open. Every time I click the Edit button, Windows says: "VideoWave has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I really want it to work. Can anyone help me? My laptop-> GPU: GeForce GT 650M, CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz, Memory: 7.86 GB, Current resolution: 1920 x 1080 (60Hz), Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8. Someone please help me.
  9. I work on the Windows platform - in Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended and Photomatix. I create my Virtual Tours in Roxio Creator 2012 Pro. Host them myself on my own website. Send agents the link and they hook it up to their listings on the MLS. I've been exporting to Windows Media Video 9, 1280 x 720. Looks great on my monitor; clients love them. All tours are similar to this one - http://www.TorontoRe...keleyStreet.wmv PLEASE HELP me figure out which settings I need to everyone can see the tours on all mediums. Too many options, and I don't know what they mean!! Thanks so very much!
  10. Hi, I just received 4 DVDs from our wedding photographer for our photos. It came with a "Roxio Restore" software in it. I believe these are backups created with Toast (I followed the link provided in the restore software, but it does not specify which version of Toast was used). When I run the Roxio Restore it keeps asking me to insert disc #1 even though that's the disc in the drive. I noticed when Roxio Restore asks for the disc by name, it has "/" in it (e.g. "Disc 5/20/12#1") while the real disc name seems to have underscore (Disc 5_20_12#1). Could this be the issue? Is there any way to restore these discs? I know I can copy the individual files manually, but some photos are split into multiple discs, so that would be the last option. I use Windows 7 x64, and I tried two different DVD drives. Thank you in advance. Deniz
  11. Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 I can't seem to get my Roxio Easy VHS to DVD adapter to be recognized. Device Manager has no idea what it is and I've tried many different times to install drivers for it, but using the program just shows me either my Webcam or the guide for plugging in my connections. I used to use this ages ago on another Windows 7 x64 install...not sure what's up with it now.
  12. ok folks, i'm just querying the possibilities which could be causing my i5-2300 Sandybridge Rig to reset itself almost immediately after i initiate the capture software on my Windows 7 PC.. this is a new problem which only started yesterday - but is happening EVERY time i attempt to get a cap screen up.. and it's getting VERY irritating Things that didn't work Reinstalling / Repairing Roxio HD Pro software - tried it System Restore back to 20th Jan dodgy USB connections - all secure and working normally Things that happened recently Of note is a recent AMD Catalyst update (13.11) which i did on Saturday which affects the GPU drivers, i haven't investigated this avenue yet but i'm thinking the timing coincidence of the update and this problem are worth investigation... Anyway here's my PC Specs i5-2300 @ 3467mhz (25C idle & 50C load) Asus P67-LE Motherboard XMS 2 x 4GB DDR3 @ 1600mhz Sapphire HD7770 Ghz 1GB (27-32C idle, 43C load) 800w PSU Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

  14. I am very illiterate when it comes to computer programs so I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I have a Dell laptop and I use Windows Vista Home Premium. I plugged everything in and it seemed to work fine. As soon as I start to play the VHS it is very choppy and distorted on my laptop but plays fine on my TV. It also makes everything run very slowly. For example when I try to minimize, exit, check or un-check boxes it freezes for several seconds before doing anything. How can I fix this?
