loimln
I hope someone can help with this. I sent the following e-mail to Canon Tech Support: I am recording in Video mode. When transfering multiple scenes from one DVD-RW mini disk using Roxio My DVD (that was supplied with the camera), all of the scenes download into one movie. When I first got the camera and software, all the scenes would download separately. Why is this no longer happening? Is there a setting I need to change on my camera? I uninstalled and reinstalled the Roxio software but that has not solved the problem. I would like each scene to download separately. Please let me know what I need to do to get this to work again. Canon replied: There are no settings on the camcorder that will control your downloads. Once connected to your computer, the remainder of the transfer process is controlled by that software; we would suggest reveiwing the instructions for that program for further information. Canon does not provide support for video editing software, therefore, we can offer no advice on their operation. Those programs are supported by the software companies. We recommend that you contact the software manufacturers, or perhaps visit their websites to find the information you seek. Well, here I am on the Roxio website and I cannot find anything to explain this. Can someone give me a clue how to get these scenes to download separately? I like to use 1 DVD-RW mini disc for multiple projects.
roxonline
Hi loimln. I think this question would be better asked on the Creator 8 forums. This is the Labs forum and the DV Capture plug-in for Windows Media Center is a separate product. Sorry I can't help.
