Converting Tivo Files

Off-The-Wahl

Question

I am trying to convert some .TiVo files in the Vidio copy and convert. Some movies will show up in when I brows to them, but others will not. I tried to delete the ones that do not show up and even re-record them, but they still do not show up. They play in Windows Medea Play without any issues. Has anyone else seen this issue or does anyone know how to fix it?

With regard to the problems with Roxio Creator burning .Tivo files, I think I know the problem. I use Tivo Desktop Plus to transfer the recorded program to my PC. On my Vista PC, Roxio Creator will find and burn the transferred .Tivo file. On my Windows 7 PC, Roxio Creator does not find (see) any.Tivo files to burn. So - the issue seems to be that Roxio Creator on Windows 7 thinks that the file is DRM protected and will not find or burn it. Neither Tivo or Roxio seem to be interested in fixing this. If anyone has a solution that doesn't involve using another program to remove the DRM, please post it. THANKS!

Why is it so hard to provide any information?

You made the same post in a Creator 2012 Forum, now your in NXT 2!

Yet you never mention what Roxio software you have. As far as I know, your Win7 DRM is not even close to being true as people have been doing with Win 7, 8 and even MAC's!

HOWEVER, I do not have TiVo so I have no first hand experience -_-
