I don't understand your question. That way is supported directly within Windows, and doesn't require any external software. It describes how to copy data files to a CD, and it really doesn't get much simpler than that.

 

Are you trying to create a different type of disc, such as Audio CD or a Video DVD?

 

If you have a version of Roxio Creator, then you would start that up, select an option to create a Data Disc, and follow a similar process of selecting the files to be written to the disc, and then writing them.

 

Why do you want a different process? What exactly are you asking?
