Stabilizer Problem - Split From Hijacked Thread

glenda178

Question

Hi Guys! Just read your conversations here. I just started playing around with my Creator NXT 2 yesterday. I clicked on the clip I wanted to stabilize then stabilize video in the fix pane. Today when I am getting down to serious business with the software, I get nothing when I click on Stabilize video. If I click on Add Video Effect and try to access it that way, the window that opens says there are no items to show in this view.. What's up with that. Oh......don't hold your breath for a call from the company

What did you do overnight?

Do you have a program that runs overnight or when you computer is idle for for a time? The first suspect is always a registry cleaner either as a stand alone or as psrt of a antivirus program. Which do you have?

Forgot to mention that it worked yesterday

Double check to make sure that when you add the stabilization that the program is not looking at "Media Selector" or other. It is possible that that was accidentally selected. Make sure you arte looking at settings.

Comment: In most cases, stabilization simply zooms in to the video to give you the impression of stabilization. If your video is more than just a little camera shake, then the built in stabilization won;t be good enough. I have been using an action cam so I am ending up with a lot more shake than from a stabilized camcorder. You may want to try the free trials of these two stabilizers. Mercalli by ProDAD (free trial, $15 for the easy and about $150 for the pro.) and the trial of Videomizer 2 (free trial , $60 to buy). Both trials are severely limited. If you decide to trial one let us know which one you think is better.
