Creator Nxt And Windows 8.1

Creator NXT is supposed to run with Windows 8.1. When I try to open Creator NXT to make a DVD I get an error message saying screen resolution must be 1024 x 76 or higher and color quality must be 16 bit or higher. My screen resolution is the recommended 1920 x 1080 and, from what I can tell, I cannot change the color quality as you could with Windows 7.

 

Any ideas?

How are you connected to your monitor, by an HDMI cable, or VGA/DVI cable? If you're using an HDMI cable, try switching to a DVI or VGA cable, and see if that fixes the problem, or if it lets you fiddle with the video settings so you can get it to work.

Can you set the actual resolution (if not the color depth) down?

What is your 'text size' set at? Is it the 'Smaller (100%)' ? If not, change it to that and see if it helps.
