Punctuation helps make many otherwise indecipherable sentences make sense.

So, I have no idea what "chute" is.

If you have the Roxio Game Capture Standard device, it only captures in Standard Definition, which is 720x480. Is that what you have? Since you posted in the forum for the the RGC Standard, we might assume that's what you have, but would you please tell us for sure?

If you want to capture at higher resolutions, you will need the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro.

So, give us some more information please.

Well, to start, you didn't answer any questions about what you actually have. So, let's try it again.

There is nothing to fix. The RGC Standard records in Standard Definition, which is 720x480. That's it. Those are the limitations of the device.

I'm sure Sony Vegas will handle that normally. And when you play it back on a larger screen, you can "stretch" it, but you'll still have Standard Definition resolution, like playing a DVD on an HD TV.

If you want to be able to record/capture in Hi-Def, you'll need to upgrade to something like the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro device.
