Installation Interrupted

When I try to install the program on Windows 8.1 it keep being interrupted when the first part of the installation is trying to load. There appears to be a later

version in 8.1 and will not let the Roxio version load. Does Roxio have a fix for this missing file?

This is the fix for the problem with Windows 8.1

 

Open the installation cd or dvd, select an install the Directx9 first. Reboot and insert the RoxioNXT-2 program. The program will now load. The Directx 9 file must be loaded before you install

the program. I did it and it WORK. good luck

I do not agree that you have to install DirectX9. I installed NXT2 Pro on a brand new Windows 8.1 computer without an issue.

 

Make sure that 1) You do not have your antivirus active, 20 that you install it to an administrator account (Make a new on if you need to) and 3 Do not install it in a compatibility mode.
