There Is No Audio On My Videos Except On Playback.

I recently upgraded my pc from Vista to Windows 7, and purchased Roxio's Creator NXT2. I've used an older version of Roxio before and had no problems; however, with NXT2 there is no audio on the movies when I add them to the "Movie/Video feature. I have a Canon Vixia HF R500 camcorder. There is sound on the play back and there is sound when I open in Windows Media Center.

I am having the same problem with my Roxio Video Capture for Mac.

 

The video input is working perfectlly but although the Sound is coming into the computer, registered under Sound in Preferences, it is not relaying to the capture software and so no isobars are moving when I get to the recording scree that confirms the audio input. The computer speakers are working with other DVDs so that is not the problem. It is something between the software and the computer that is not transmitting the sound from the agreed input device to the recording software.

 

I've had multiple exchanges with Roxio software support but so far they haven't suggested anything new or useful. Is there an error somewhere in the Mac OS or is this a fault of the sotware.

WHAT Roxio software are you using?

 

WHAT specific application within that Suite are you using?

 

HOW are you hooked up to your MAC?

 

You have a completely different hardware, OS, software and process, so there is No Way it is the same!

I have the same problem when I try to record from record player to computer there is no sound, but, the speakers are working correctly, If you solve the problem let me know

So let me get this straight - you are running an obsolete version of Creator that is not compatible with Windows 10 and you do not have audio. What application are you using? What recording device do you have set in Windows ?? (whatever version)
