Windows Won't Shutdown After Install.

Pendaws

Question

Hi all, I have Roxio 2011 and 2012. I installed Roxio 2011 and had trouble with restarting the computer and with shutting down.

I uninstalled 2011 and decided to try 2012, now it will reboot ok but, it WILL NOT shutdown, I actually have to power off the machine

to stop it. Obviously there is a problem and I have not been able to find out what it is so, I wondered if any kind soul might have

a clue about this.

My system is: Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3 MB, G3258 CPU (intel), 32GB ram, Samsung 840 EVO 250gb and 2x GTX 660 Ti Video cards.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated. :)

Sounds like your PC is a mess and your blaming it on a install of Roxio software?

Download a free copy of Revo Uninstaller Pro and remove the Roxio software in 'Moderate Mode'.

After the Roxio Software removal does your PC have shutdown problems?

Well, it is the fault of Roxio mate. This is a brand new install of Windows 7 but, obviously I won't be getting an answer here.

I posted in the first post that the machine will not shut down after the install but after UNinstalling Roxio, all was ok.

I will look elsewhere.

Try it after disabling one of the video cards.
