Installing Creator 2009 In Xp

I have used creator 2009 on my computer about 8 times in 5 years and i just went too use it again and a window popped up with a error telling me to send a report. I installed it on another computer and got the same result. When i loaded it i shut off the antivirus to make sure it would not be a problem. Anyone have any ideas.

Try copying the disc(s) to you hard drive, and install from there, instead of the DVD(S).

If GrandpaBruce's suggestion doesn't fix it for you, please come back here and give us as much detail as possible about the "window popped up with a error telling me to send a report"

 

We need to be able to work out what the error is before we can suggest how to fix it.

I saved creator 2009 to a file on my computer like you said and opened it and got a error still and this is it, "event type : clr20r3 P1:roxiocentralfx.exe P2:4.12.0.0 P3 :48a05348 P4: roxiocentralfx P5: 0.0.0.0 P6:48a05348 P7:17e P8: 12 P9: system.dllnotfoundexception" It worked before and when i get the error it sends the error to Microsoft.

Sorry, haven't seen that one before, and I can't duplicate your error with my Creator 2009 in XP.

 

System.dll is part of Windows [.Net Framework version 2.0] so I don't know why you'd get the same error on two different computers.
