Change In Playback Speed

When playing back a capture from my PS3 the capture started to speed up and the in game voices became squeaky. This stared half way through a video. Since then all of my captures have been playing at this faster speed.

I have not changed any settings.

Is this a hardware or software problem?

If you have any ideas on what is causing this any help would be much appreciated.

more likely something has changed in your PC...

 

Quick test, take a squeaky file to a friend and have them play it on theirs (or another PC if you have one).

 

What happens then?

Played the WMV on another laptop and it is the same.

All other captures which have been recorded today have the same problem.

Cut out a 5 or 10 seconds portion and post it here. Better to see (hear?) it first hand
