Editting Album And Song Information

Bill L

Question

Using the Rip CDs using Easy Media Creator Suite 10, I have put in a CD that apparently is not in any of the information databases that are used to provide the album and track information. The provided display only gives track numbers. Is there any option to allow me to override the supplied info with information from the cover of the CD. I know I have done this is the past, just not sure it was with Roxio.

TIA,

Bill

Hello Bill,

I couldn't find an easy way to do what you want with "Rip CDs", however I think "Multi CD Ripper" will do what you want. The multi ripper is much more versatile, and I always use it even for solo CDs.

Insert your CD, and decline any strange suggestions Gracenote might offer.

Rip the CD, and ignore instructions to insert the next CD

Highlight the first track and click "Edit Audio Tags"

Now Insert your data for this track from the CD cover, and click "Done" at the bottom. Do this for each track in turn until all are done.

When all are done, click "Finish" in the bottom right corner, and "OK" in the pop-up box

You will find your tracks stored in \My Documents\My Music\ under the artist and album name, and I think that's what you wanted.
