Toast 11 And Yosemite 10.10 Support

Toast 10.0.9 cannot find my dvd/cd writer which is connected with USB.

I am using an iMac with OS 10.10.

Connection is supposed to be with an external Samsung DVD/CD Writer S084D.

Toast gives me the pull down to select a burner, but it asks me for an I.P. like number. There isn't any for a USB device.

Hello:

I did a clean (re) install of Toast 11.2. Toast crashed when I changed some of the preferences. I am doing data discs in PC and Mac format. I restarted Toast and now it seems to be working fine. I am not sure if or what was corrupt. But with the install of 11.2 it seems to have stabilized. I have many more discs to do and will update my post if I start to have problems again. Thanks for your response.

Toast 11.2 works fine on Yosemite 10.10.3, except i constantly get burn issues at around 90% ,... Gone throigh about 10 blank cds trying to burn audio and all with "medium error"

iTunes same issue too btw.

I would try a different brand of discs.
