In installed a new printer today hp 8610 and suddenly my cd labels are printing ovals instead of nice rounds. Any ideas how to fix? I have deleted and reinstalled creator 10.0 and no change. Worked fine on my hp 8600 yesterday.

You change printers and you have printing issues but it did work properly with a different printer. Why do you think it is the program and not the printer? Apply Occam's Razor

First, a caution. You indicated that you wanted to print CD labels. That is OK but NEVER put a label on a DVD or blu ray. They will fly off and cause all kinds of issues.

Did you install the new drivers for the printer? Go online to see if there are newer ones. Also did you do the calibration that is part of the Label Printer program? You must have both he printer set correctly with its drivers AND in the program.

This thread is in the wrong forum, so I expect it will be shifted to the EMC 10 forum soon.

Meanwhile, will your new printer print a circle correctly with the current drivers? Try printing this circle onto plain paper.

If it prints oval in Windows then your drivers are wrong despite the HP tech's efforts. If it prints correctly in Windows, then you need to adjust your label printing settings.
