Roxio HD-Pro Supports Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 & PC Game Capture....

"PlayStation 3 can only support Component A/V out for capture. HDMI video out is protected" (this is Sony's doing NOT Roxio).

.

You and Jim are correct, but it would appear that you are both beating a dead horse, errr......hamster.

...And, the both the PS4 & Xbox One have hdcp protection with their HDMI cable output! To allow recording you have to have their firmware update installed and it allows you to turn off hdcp coding to record provided the game manufacture allows it.

The Xbox 360 did not have this so it worked with HDMI. Whereas the PS3 did have hdcp coding on the HDMI output as you see and it does not work!

We used to always joke about the 10% that don't get the word :D This has been an evolving industry standard for several years now.

I have a jailbreak ps3 so yes I have this option, and I want hd quality from my roxio which is why I got the pro, so why do I want to downgrade to av leads for?

One more time......The problem is with Sony PS3 using HDCP in its HDMI output. Roxio cant change it, thats the way it is.

I use Component output on almost ALL my video outputs DVD player, Camcorder etc. and do not see a significant better quality when using HDMI outputs.

Good luck, I am also done with this post.
