App Hangs Up At Start Up. Windows 7 Home Premium

I have recently purchased the easy vhs to dvd 3 plus and I'm having problems when starting up the app it takes up all my cpu and crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still have issues.

I have done what was suggested and it still not responding and when starting up it uses 100% CPU. Any other suggestions?

Please provide the dxdiag.exe evaluation of your computer following these directions.(Link). There is no personal information except what you named your computer.

 

How many programs do you have in your start menu? How many programs running in the background.

 

Try temporarily shutting off your anti-virus and try opening the program again.

There could be numerous reasons why this is happening. List your computer specs, similar to how I have mine, in my signature.

Let's try it this way

 

Unplug your Roxio Capture Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

 

Download and install the

Revo

Uninstaller. Then run it in

Moderate Mode

to remove any traces of Roxio.

 

Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

 

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
