gumbyc Posted December 31, 2015 Report Share Posted December 31, 2015 I just installed Roxio "PC Game Capture" software and tried to run it. When I go to Capture I get "Please check your internet connection and try again". Of course I have internet connection. I tried running as administrator, no luck. I looked for update, none. I disabled my antivirus and firewall, no change. You mention something about an RGC device, I don't have that just the software box. Do you need something else. Any help would be appreciated because although I do a lot with computers, I am not familiar with game capturing and how it works, although I am quite familiar with video editing software. You seem to have the "PC Game Capture" software which used to have its own forum but that seems to have disappeared (and is no longer sold or supported by Roxio). Jim_Hardin Posted November 5, 2015 Report Share Posted November 5, 2015 This topic is a year old and in that time you are only the second person to have this issue Follow these instructions in order: First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished. Now insert your Roxio Disc. Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows) When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that! It's Roxio "PC Game Capture" Powered by WeGame.com. Don't know what else I can tell you from the box but if it is outdated, and no longer supported, it will have to be returned.
