Won't Recognize The Video Input - Also Says (Not Responding)

I am running Windows 7. I had the orignial VHS to DVD and had some problems with that, it seemed very tempramental. I just upgraded (downloaded) to Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus. Now when I start the program it doesn't see my video input and says it is Not Responding. I have read a few other threads, but not sure how to supply some of the information that is asked for. How do I get my computer specs so others can see them? and how do I know what is in my startup menu? This is very frustrating.

Pressing the Win-Pause keys will give us computer info.

 

 

 

AND! While you are there, click on Device Manager:

 

 

With your USB Device plugged into your PC you should see these exact 2 entries:
