bimicher
Your PC is on the very low end as the stated Roxio requirements are usually very optimistic. Also which capture device/program are you thinking of getting as there are 2 available? You post can then be moved to the correct forum.

cdanteek
im thinking of getting this if it answers your question myguggi http://www.amazon.co...m_cd_al_qh_dp_t It is old and under horse powered for this software! Minimum System Requirements: Microsoft Windows® 8, 7, Vista™ SP2, XP (SP3 for 32 bit & SP2 for 64 bit), Intel® Core 2 Duo Processor 1.8 GHz or AMD Athlon x2 64 2.0 GHz, 2GB RAM Dual Core 2.3 GHz above is recommended for 1080 30p/60i recording The product is also Windows 8 ready DirectX® 9.0c compatible graphics card or higher, sound card 2GB free hard drive space for installation. 10+ GB free recommended for video recording Windows Media Player 11 or higher Internet explorer 7 or 8 Internet connection required for capture, live streaming, registration, product updates and tutorials. Any Internet charges are the user's responsibility Internet upload speed for Live Streaming: 1.5 Mbps. 2.5 Mbps above is recommended 720p live stream requires at least 4.5 Mbps internet upload speed One available USB 2.0 port The AMD E2-1800 (codename Zacate) is a dual core processor for small notebooks and netbooks. It offers a relatively powerful integrated graphics card and a single channel DDR3-1333 memory controller. Compared to the older E-450, the E2-1800 offers only slightly higher CPU (50 MHz) and GPU (20-80 MHz) clock rates. Inside the E2-1800 two Bobcat cores can access 512KB level 2 cache per core. In comparison to the Atom processors, the Bobcat architecture uses an "out-of-order" execution and is therefore faster at the same clock speed. However, the performance is far worse than similar clocked Penryn (Celeron) or Danube (Athlon II) cores. On average the cpu performance of the E-450 lies a bit beyond a Celeron SU2300 at 1.2 GHz or a Athlon II Neo K325 at 1.3 GHz.

cdanteek
uhh, what exactly is old, can you be more specific? Old = The AMD E2-1800 (codename Zacate) is a dual core processor for small notebooks and netbooks Under horse powered = The AMD E2-1800 (codename Zacate) is a dual core processor for small notebooks and netbooks Not fast enough for the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro software. You can't want it so bad it will turn your PC into something it is not. Look at my i7 specs in my signature.
