Videowave Crashes When I Add Background Audio

Repair it - put your disc back in and run Setup.

 

Just so you know, 'Add Background Audio' allows you to add an existing audio file (wma, wav, mp3 or aac)

 

There is an 'Add Narration' icon or selection under Production. This is different in that you can record from a mic into your Production ;)

"VideoWave has stopped working..." - this is a Windows error message meaning the Program has crashed!

 

You have to repair the program.

 

One thing from many, many versions ago and only with video files, nevertheless.... Try using Windows Explorer to drag and drop the file onto the track. ;)
