Mydvd Hangs At 77%

TxHogg

Question

I just upgraded to NXT3 and created 3 DVDs from my Sony HandyCam. I am on my 4th DVD, and it gets to 77% and just hangs or stops working (CPU drops from 75% utilization to about 20%) on the encode move. I receive no error, and it appears to still be working (no issues w/ task manager saying not responding). I have let it run for over 6 hours and never finished (other 3 took 45 minutes). I killed MyDVD, tried again, killed again and restarted computer and tried again and it hangs at 77%.

Not sure how to capture logging, see where it is getting hung, or figure out how to make this DVD.

Suggestions?

I hope you are using Videowave (and not myDVD) to first create your video. That way you can export to a DVD video compliant file which, if created successfully, can be used to create the DVD.

Since it always hangs at 77%, what is going on at that point that is causing the hang. Since you were able to creat 3 DVDs Ok, that indicates that the program is working correctly and the problem is related to the resources in your project.
