Roxio Hd Pro Wont Work After Update

my Roxio Hd would work perfectly before the newest update. Now in order for my TV to show what i have to do is turn my computer on. and its annoying because my computer takes alot of power so when i dont want to record i need my computer on to display my xbox on my tv

The RGC Pass Through has always required the device be hooked up to a running PC that has the software installed

 

A splitter before the RGC is the only way around that

But before this update i could have my PC shutdown but i could still view my xbox on the tv display. I also use HDMI.
