Can't Find My Photos

peakgolf

Question

I am trying to burn some of my iPhotos to a DVD....when I go to "photos" on the menu screen iPhotos do not come up, the screen is blank. If I go to "videos" IMovie comes up on the screen, in "audio" iTunes comes up on the screen...Unfortunately customer support with Roxio is non-exitant....

Anyone out there know how I can access my iPhotos on Toast 11??

Thanks in advance,

peakgolf

Sorry, I don't know how to fix that when the library doesn't appear in the media browser. It should appear if it has the default name and is in its default location. Check to see that your library is titled "IPhoto Library" and is at the top level of the Photos folder.

You might try trashing Toast's plist and prefs files in your User>Library>Preferences folder and relaunching Toast. You access the user library by holding down the Option key when selecting the Go menu in the Finder.

You can back up your iPhoto library by dragging it to the Toast Data window. You won't see the photos that way but you'll know everything is backed up.
