Errors When Trying To Burn A Music Cd

Pete6114

Question

Just bought and downloaded this software.

I tried a bunch of times to burn 24 mp3 files to a new cd and always got a error, telling me to try another cd. Had a diff. manufacturer of my cd's and tried that as well, but kept getting the same error.

I then closed roxio and inserted one of the cd's that i tried to burn to before, and god behold, i now have 5 cd's with the mp3s on them, that it said, it couldn't finish along with the error messages.

i'M on Win 8.1

Roxio easy cd and dvd BURNING Ver:14.0.49.2 5.0.0.0

Build 140B49C, ECD, 701B41A, ECD

Appreciate it If you could get some support here.

Registration dont work when it pops up at the program start, or from within the program. Help/register now.

My Video drivers are up to date. Medea player and directX are too, through windows updates.

Your "Updating Firmware for CD/DVD Burners." link returns this

Registration dont work when it pops up at the program start, or from within the program...

'My car don't start'... same thing not enough information for anyone to bother trying to guess!

It is not 'my link', I am just a user here!

Click the red Roxio at the top then pick "My Account"(small print at top, in same line as phone number) and manually register your product.

The CD Key it asks for is the one on the label

BACK to you first problem! Go into Windows, Device Manager (Win-Pause upper left) and Delete your burner!

Reboot and try it. ~ should that not work, we will try something else but it usually does by forcing Windows to rediscover the drive on boot up ;)
