SO, apparently I made the same mistake by ordering the $29 vesion and it is @#*#* useless. I burned 6 bad DVDs with menus that won't play on anything, then I burned one with no menu that plays but the video, using 4:3 on a 4:3 tv, is cut off at the bottom and the resolution is terrible. Then it froze the DVD player, so I removed the disc and started over. This time, the video is cut off at the top. Even playing it on the computer the resolution is awful, but it looks great in the preview. I paid money for this, and there is probably better freeware.

BTW, this is version 14.0.49.2; 5.0.0.0. Downloaded 11/30/14. Also, the video takes a loooong time to be read in the DVD player, but the player works fine for everything else.

More BTW, I have the video file in wmv, m4v, rv, and mp4 formats. This cheap, NOT EASY software only recognizes wmv among these. Do you have any suggestions other than ask for a refund?

Nope.

 

Go for the refund. This version doesn't seem to do what you want it to do.
