renoufj21
I've just tried to fire up Toast 9 after not using it in ages, and I find an error message saying no recorder found. However, my superdrive is working fine. Does this mean that Toast 9 isn't compatible with Yosemite? Thanks J

Corel just released an update to Toast 12 for Yosemite compatibility so it's likely Toast 9 has issues. Corel is selling Toast Burn and Toast DVD via the App Store if you're looking for lower-cost versions that do just the data or just the video features of Toast Titanium. brittanyvance
I just tried to update my Toast Titanium 10 because of the same issue, it's now asking me for a product code and won't work at all. I think Toast came with my Imac back in 2009, if not i have lost the original disc. Any ideas??

When Toast the registration key was entered the first time there was an opportunity to register it on Roxio's web site. If this was done then logging into your Roxio page would show you your registration key to enter when reinstalling Toast. Oftentimes Toast is purchased as a download from Roxio in which case your confirmation email would have the code. If it was bought on disc then the code is in the packaging, not on the disc. If none of these are available to you then you're out of luck. Have you checked the Yosemite discussion group at discussions.apple.com to learn if this is a common problem between Toast and Yosemite?
