Roxio Won't Let Me Render! Please Help!

AlessioMarin1

Question

Ok, so before I usually rendered my youtube videos in 1080p HD and saved them onto my external hard drive which has 731 GB of space left. Once it starts rendering, it gets to 6 frames and then pauses and says: "the file has exceeded the 4 GB limit on this drive".

I've also tried going to tools >> options >> and changing it to software and doing all of that stuff. When I do that it renders past 6 frames but when it's 99% done it pauses and won't render any more! I clicked cancel and tried to open the file. It said that media player couldn't play the file and when I try to convert it to AVI in Freemake video converter/compressor it says that the file can't be imported!

I'm very behind on my youtube schedule so please HELP ME!

Any way you could post it or a smaller same/same video on this free hosting site. Then post a link so we could have a go at rendering it in videowave?

wait.. I thought that this is how it goes:

I'm trying to render a video i've edited in video wave. The video wave file that contains the edited footage is inside the video wave production. I can't upload a production to anything, It needs to be a video file like mp4 or avi and you do that by rendering it but I can't render ^#!& :(

I have no idea why but I have the registered version of Bandicam and when i went to retrieve my recorded video files to put them into video wave ready for editing they were two clips

and i can't put these videos on the forum because it's again bigger than 30 MB what was the point of me sharing my clips anyway im a little confused

Bandicam is the most advanced Desktop Screen Recorder and Video / Game Recording Software on the planet.

Looks like your using Bandicam to capture your video and Videowave doesn't like them!

Try capturing with Roxio Game Capture HD Pro and see how well Videowave excepts that video.

Ok how about this. I usually make my YouTube videos a minimum of 15 minutes long and a maximum of 30 minutes. This particular video (part 3) of my YT series is 30 minutes. The error message says that the file has exceeded the limit of 4 GB so: if i were to make a copy of part 3.dmsm and call it part 4 and then whilst editing part 3 i'd cut it in half, delete the second 15 minutes of the video and then render the first 15 minutes as part 3. Then in the copy of part 3 called part 4, I'd delete the first 15 minutes of that and render the second 15 minutes as part 4. That way both videos may split down from 4 GB to 2 GB each perhaps.

BTW what you just said about video wave not liking bandicam seems logical because my lets play minecraft series for the PC is the first series ive had trouble rendering because of this issue. I've done an entire splinter cell 1 assassins creed 1 and half way through ac2 with the HD GameCap recording the xbox 360 not the pc through bandicam and during recording console gaming i never had this issue.

1 thing i've learned: roxio is VERY buggy.

I would follow the advice in post #33 and tell us the results.

I did that I just tried to render edited CONSOLE gaming footage recorded with the Roxio HD game cap pro and it works! It only doesn't work when rendering edited footage that is recorded by bandicam. Turns out roxio doesn't like bandicam after all. Maybe I should just get Adobe premiere elements since video wave isnt working

Videowave works fine with a Roxio Game Capture HD Pro captured file. :)

Adobe premiere elements may have similar problems with Bandicam Recorded Video?

Hmm im not sure about Adobe Pe. I got the student discount for Adobe CC and that obviously gave me access to all of creative cloud till i leave school for 12$ a month but the audio and video is completely out of sync in premiere pro. Even when recorded at the SAME TIME not commentary in audacity and gameplay in bandicam (and then matched up).

I think it's because premiere pro can't handle variable frame rates and i need to have consistent frame rate so i tried to use handbreak instead of freemake video converter but it still doesn't work :( oh well

Anyways, thanks for all your help mate :D !!!

I haven't a clue on what you are doing. I don't even know what program you are using. So how about giving some information so at least your post can be put in the correct forum

No idea what you mean by "it gets to 6 frames"? It only takes a fraction of a second to render 6 frames.
