Jim_Hardin
I don't hear anything during the countdown but after that it is OK, a little quite but present... If you load it into the editor, VideoWave, look at the soundtrack and you will see it visually.

Jim_Hardin
You have a Celeron ~ it will NEVER work on that! Win 8 is not an issue at all. Check ALL the items on the list... Your hooked up with Component right? - try something else - even a phone or MP3 player to substitute for the Audio... Of course the Proper Repair (fixes software) First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished. Now insert your Roxio Disc. Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows) When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that! When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Jim_Hardin
Means just what it says... You have a White/Red RCA audio input on the device. It does not matter What audio source is plugged in and it will test something else. A little more doing and a little less questioning will move this along
