How Can I Go From Toast 6 To Toast 10 Mac And Keep The Track Times?

Rumwell

Question

I went from Toast 6 to Toast 10, and also from PowerBook G4 to MacBook Pro. While still using Toast 6 I digitized several hundreds of tape cassettes to AIFF files on DVDs with CD Spin Doctor in 2004, and I still have them.

Now 10 years later to consolidate my files I tried to transfer everything to a single external hard drive for back-up using my MB Pro with Toast 10, but when I load those DVDs into my Toast 10-enabled MB Pro, I see that it still reads the names of the tracks but has stripped them of their timings. All the track times simply read as 0.

Although the sound waves are visible in the graph above, the individual tracks have been lost except for the names--as if the entire album is one single block instead of multiple tracks.

However, I still have my old PB G4 and Toast 6 on it, and so when I put those same DVDs into that old computer, everything shows up again as expected, with the track times. How can I update this to my current computer and Toast 10?
