Recording In 1080P Hd

Hi,

 

I've been using the Roxio Game Cap HD Pro for about a month or so now, and I can only record in 720p HD. This is strange because on the original box that contains the capture card it says that the HD Game Cap is capable of recording in 1080p HD, however when I proceed to set the "profile" to 1080p HD by going to Source >> Options >> Profile I am confronted with only two options as shown below in the FIRST IMAGE:

 

I went on YouTube and had a look at other people's settings also. I found a video where someone was able to set their profile to 1080p HD! This is displayed in the SECOND IMAGE. I purchased the Roxio Game Cap expecting to be able to record in 1080p, so this is quite confusing!

You have to make sure you manually set your gaming unit for 1080p. You can't let it automatically set the output quality. If your XBox or PS(3/4) isn't outputting at 1080p, the Roxio Game Cap HD won't give you that option.
