Random Blue Screen For 3 Seconds

DivineArk

Question

Okay the topic says it all I just installed my new Roxio HD Pro on a:

PS3 2nd gen

Craig 32 inch LED TV for 1080i

to my HP Pavilion G7 Laptop

running AMD Radeon HD 7640G for a video adapter

CPU is an AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics

Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Now every so often completely at random my T.V. screen goes blue as if its not recieving a signal, now this only happens for 3 seconds and then it goes back to what ever I had it doing previously. when I go back to my laptop's screen and the Roxio Capture screen with the in game screen it does not show this blue effect.

Does anyone have an idea as to why its doing this?

What is the RGC connected TO?

How?

Is the gamebox SET to a specific output or left to Automatic? (don't work!)

Okay thanks for a quick reply. If I understand you correctly please forgive me if I don't, it is connected to my PS3 (I did forget that now didn't I sorry).

When you say output can you be more specific I am sorry as I do not want to step on any nail's do you mean my PS3 video settings as output? If so 480p, 720p and 1080i are checked 1080p is not checked.

Never seen the setup screen on a PS, but I know there is an Automatic setting and it must be turned off!

Easy there tiger all caps is some strong stuff there. If at first your "How" doesn't succeed try reiterating what your stating.

Again my error as I am missing information here, component cables is the connection from the PS3 to the RGC and out on the other side with the power USB is the HDMI cable running to my T.V. .

Ah never seen the PS version? Well that's understandable. Automatic eh? the only Automatic would have to be in the internet connection settings such as Address Setting's, IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Router, Primary DNS, Secondary DNS, and MTU. But for display settings under component / D-Terminal there are these display settings: Standard (NTSC) this is a permanent check as it is grayed out and can not be unchecked, then we have the usual 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p.
