Roxio Creator 2012 Error Encoding

Hi... I'm using Roxio Creator 2012 - My DVD - and when trying to burn the final movie to a blank DVD disc, I keep getting an error on the 2nd step "encoding movie." It always stops at "2 of 5." The burn project never completes that step (encoding movie) so it can't get to the final three steps...encode menus, record menus and complete. Please help if you can. Thanks!

Post some information about the actual movie you are trying to encode: what is the source, what transitions/effects/audio are you adding? When do you get the error message: at the beginning, at the end or where? How long in time is your project?

 

Have you tried to first render (export) to a DVD compliant video file?
