Cant Install My Kids Software, Keeps Saying His System Has Not Been Modified, I've Tried Everything...help Please

I got my son a Roxio HDPRO for Christmas and e we try to install the software it seems like it is working and then stops and says his system has not been modified. I have followed all the links and tried doing the "safe mode". What can I do to get this software downloaded. my kid and I are both about in tears....I'm so lost right now!!!
