LKP
I am trying to install the downloaded version to my computer but it locks up when I click on it. I have the old Media Creator 9 already installed. Do I need to uninstall it first or will it automatically do so?
0 cdanteek
I am trying to install the downloaded version to my computer but it locks up when I click on it. I have the old Media Creator 9 already installed. Do I need to uninstall it first or will it automatically do so? What download version, does it have a name? It should uninstall old Media Creator 9, or the parts that need to be uninstalled. They are self extracting zip files and take a while to unpack dependent on the horse power of your PC. 0 LKP
Okay, I figured out the problem. I was double clicking on the file and it locked up my computer. This time I right clicked and opened as administrator. Now it is installing.
0 Brendon
Excellent. I've been away installing EMC 9 and Redbox 14.0.9.49.2 [RoxioEasyCD&DVDBurning_LC49CXD1ECD] together on a computer. So far they seem to be coexisting nicely, and nothing of EMC9 was uninstalled by the subsequent installation of Easy CD & DVD Burning. It's quite fascinating to watch different versions of MyDVD running side-by-side. Regards, Brendon
