Playback Problems

when I make a music cd mp3 or cd format when i playback cd in my car or any car the cd plays and just stops for a minute or so and picks back up losing that time i have tried different cds different cars and different cd drives all with same results doesn't matter what song what album what track the music will start playing and just stop for a bit and start playing again not where it left off has anybody had this problem before i have tried different burn speeds also and the kicker is it plays back in my mac fine crazy rite

There used to be common advice to burn audio CDs at the slowest available speed. You also might try a different brand of CD media.
