I have attacked it in every source in the program.. am I missing something?? No, read post #2 where the original poster was told to use the capture utility and not the "Copy and Convert: utility that was used in earlier versions of Creator. The OP was using that one. Also I'm sure you are aware that not all YouTube videos are downloadable. Please post the link to one where you cannot download one so we can try it. The confusion comes from you threadjacking someone else's post with yours. Yours may be a completely different problem - not to mention computer, and perhaps not even the same version. Please don;t do it again. Always create you own thread and give us the full information (if you want a non-confusing answer).

Jim_Hardin
The one we are talking about is This one: When Open, you can adjust the settings to suit your needs: In your case, notice at the top it is set to capture Full Screen. What you would do is load your YouTube video in your browser and pause it. Then set the Drop Down to that Browser (YouTube) and start recording then start the video. This way you get it all and can trim the excess in VideoWave.
Brendon
The one we are talking about is This one: But those not using Windows 10 should note that Roxio's "Record your screen" doesn't work at all under Windows XP. Onenarrator, I captured the video from your link very simply with the free 'Video Downloadhelper' add-on in Firefox. It works a treat, just click the downarrow. You don't have to trim or re-edit it, either, Regards, Brendon

Kind regards Larrym9 Sounds like you used an earlier version of Creator and were familiar with that.. NXT 3 has a screen capture utitlity reached from the Home page to do what you are trying to do. Remember NOT all YouTube videos can be downloaded and captured. The older Copy and Convert seldom worked right.
