Change Display Settings

I go to capture footage then hit edit button and it gives me this error Change display settings-The current do not meet requirements 1024x768 pixels or higher and color quality 16bit or up.I capture for few min. then go hit the green edit capture button and it does nothing but keeps running and wont quit.I have to exit out and when i do i get this error change settings.I go to roxio capture settings and it only gives me 2 options hd720 or 480. what do i do.Please help?????

The options you see are what you are sending it from whatever you have it connected to

After i thought i recorded a small video i press the green edit button.When i press edit it just keeps running until i have to abort it by exiting out.Then i get the error saying Change display settings-The current display settings do not meet the min. requir. for this application please change the screen resolution to 768 pixels or higher and color quality to 16bit..Everything is set to 1080 besides roxio software it only gives me the option of 720p hd or 480.Please help???

Check your DPI and make sure it is set at 100%
