Toast Version 2

I bought Toast version 2 online. I placed a 24 gig quick time movie in the box and tried to cut a dvd. When I play the DVD the picture runs much slower that the video and it is like in slow motion. I tried in DVD video, HD video, Blue ray video, all of them does the same. Then I took a 7 min quick time clip and it does the same. I am not sure if the program is faulty, but could you help me with some answers

I have no idea why that would happen. What are the specs of the source video? Toast describes them after you add it to the Toast window. What are you using to play the DVD, HD video & Blu-ray disc?
