Question

I was burning a disc in toast 11 and got a message that it was not a supported file. However, toast nor the regular eject on my computer will not work to eject the disc. From what I have researched it seems that it might still think the disc is being used by Toast but I haven't figured out how to change that so I can eject the disc. I have tried turning the computer on and off including holding the mouse down and also fixing it in disc utility.

Does turning it on and off also include unplugging it for awhile? Some things keep bits powered on even when you think they're off. (Not a Mac user, so I'm only tossing out a generic suggestion.)

You should be able to remove the disc after a restart. If it is an external drive try unplugging it as well. If still no go then launch Toast and choose Eject from the Recorder Settings menu.
