Brendon
I just bought the software today and it will not upload the video for me so I can make a video. To "upload" is to transmit something on a network to another computer. I think you're not really trying to do that. What are you actually trying to do? Please answer these following questions so we can try to help you. [1] What sort of source are you using? A DVD or a CD or a file? [2] If a DVD, is it a protected commercial one? - Roxio software won't break protection. [3] If it's a file, what type of file? What's the extension on the end of the file's name? [e.g. AVI, .MPG, .DIVX, .MOV, .MKV, MP4 etc.] This software has been disabled from using some types of files. [4] What are you trying to make? A file which will play on your computer? A disc which will play in a DVD player? An audio CD? Authoring is the process of using the MyDVD software to create a proper Video-CD which will play in a DVD player.
