New to Creator NXT Pro 3, so sorry if I am asking stupid questions.

 

I am recording baseball pitchers on my Canon T4i at 60 fps and want to import into Creator (Videowave?) at 60fps, and be able to edit it and write it to a DVD do show the players. (.MOV)

 

If I recorded it at 60FPS wil it "down convert" to 30fps or will in import at 60?

 

IF it imports at 60fps will it burn to the DVD at 60fps?

 

Is there a manual on the discs?

the DVD will be 720x480 at 29 fps and in the mpg format

Why are you worried about the fps - frame rate? If you want to speed up or slow down the video, you can do that in VideoWave with no loss of quality.

 

What you didn;t tell us was the quality of the video you took - standard definition or high definition. If high definition, you can make an AVCHD disc or blu-ray at the higher frame rate if you have the equipment to burn it and play it.

 

From the spces you have these options: Tell us what you used:

Video Capture Format H.264, Motion JPEG Video Capture Resolution 1920 x 1080 (30, 25, 24 fps), 1280 x 720 (60, 50 fps), 640 x 480 (60, 50 fps)

60 fps can; be the first one listed but can be 720 or 480.

 

By the way, Roxio does not like the mov format from dSLR masquerading as camcorders. You will have to use a third party converter to convert it to a mpg2 file (standard or high definition).. I use "Any Video Converter" but there are others. I see that you actually have the H264 or mjpeg format.

 

Here is a link to a users guide for NXT but it is NOT very detailed. There are not many differences between the Video Wave program for the different version.
