Saving Files To Hard Drive

Question

Trying to make a music DVD. This requires saving(18-20) CDs to hard drive, then burning from the hard drive.

I cannot figure how to save them TO the C drive. I did it once by accident, but for the life of me, can't do it again.

Help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Many, many thanks.

Hello,

I think your best way would be to "rip" the CDs to the hard drive, using "Rip - Advanced"

The Roxio Multi-Ripper reads your CDs one after the other, and transfers them to the hard drive as files - which is what you need. It gives you more control than using "Rip" from the main menu. You can rip one or two CDs at a time - no need to do them all at once.

If you rip directly to .WAV files you will maintain the best fidelity, although good quality MP3s will probably be okay.

Try a CD or two to get the hang of using the ripper.

Regards,

Brendon
