Easy Audio Capture Issues

In my Roxio Creator 2012, the Easy Audio Capture has been working fine until today and now it will not identify tracks I am recording, and it is taking forever to export them. Any ideas on what may be causing this? Also, it is not separating tracks

 

Use Windows restore to restore your computer to a recent time where it worked correctly.

 

Make sure that you do regular maintenance on your computer such as getting rid of programs you no longer use, trial programs, get rid of junk files and defrag.

 

What else do you have running - new antivirus or other? Are you capturing to an internal disc or a USB connected disc?

 

Edit: I forgot to talk about separating tracks. There has to be enough silence between tracks for that to work. Make sure you didn;t accidentally turn off that function in the settings.

I'll have to try the restore. I do defrag and run antivirus frequently, as well as delete stuff I don't need. I am capturing from spotify exporting to itunes. I checked the function for separating tracks and it is set to 1.2 seconds from default. I'm guessing it has something to do with updates, as it just did 15-20 of them. Thanks
