Roxio Game Capture No Signal

Question

Hi

just bought son new Roxio Game Captre to replace one that wasn't working. New component cables to in case this w causing the problem.

Everything appears on screen as it should except it says No Signal in green and though you can hear the sound and capture that, there is no picture in the preview screen? We have tried changing the HDTV setting as someone said this might help and a you tube video said to repair rather than reinstall software all of which we have tried to no avail Does anyone know what th problem Is and how to fix it??? Desparate now???

Thank

The Green 'No Signal' indicates that the software is not seeing the RGC Device...

A proper repair is usually the fix for this but it has to be done following this outline:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

It can also be caused by the connection. And that can mean the USB cable, or the port you are using on the PC. Swapping ports changing cables is what you have to try for this ;)

I have installed the software on the computer, uninstalled reinstalled, linked it up to a Xbox One and Samsung smart tv with HDMI leads correctly from the instructions.

The device shows up correctly on the device manager. I have repaired the software numerous times with the firewall off. Switched the Xbox one off first, and loaded it. I only get a RED no signal when it is plugged up and green no signal when not plugged up. Is it the setting on the TV or Xbox one, I have tried different settings with no joy. Th TV's software is upto date.what HD settings should Ii try, I can only seem to get 1080 p60 on my TV? If that makes any difference. . Been trying for ages. Quality brand new leads used, I am sure there is away around this, but I am stumped at present.

I have set the service to automatic.

Any help would be most appreciated

Regards.
