sknis
Hi I've looked at lots of threads/site looking for a solution with no luck Using CREATOR, my slideshow images display poorly I don't understand why Am using a Windows 7 PC with everything standard All of the images are JPEG Can anyone please help? The reason is that you are making a slide show at standard definition which is 720 by 480 (or PAL equivalent). If you are trying to lay that on an upscaling DVD player, it will look pretty bad. You can improve the quality by making an AVCHD disc or a blu ray disc 1920 by 1080) or PAL equivalent.. You will need to select wide screen new project option in "Edit Video -Advanced" to get high definition. I'm assuming that you want to play the slide show on a DVD/Blu ray player. If you just want to watch it on your computer (or from a thumbdrive. Then select wide screen option, make your slide show and then output the slide show to a high definition format. As you can probably guess there are many questions that we can ask but the above is a broad stroke explanation of the issue with the limited information you have given us. bimicher
What version of "Creator" are you using: C2012. NXT, NXT 2, NXT 3 or what? Your post can then be moved to the correct forum. Did you start your slideshow in Videowave or the Slideshow wizard?
ilderton
Does it really make a difference MYGUGGI - Surely there is no snobbery here? And in any event - this can't be complicated..........(I'm using Creator Business HD) But my point is additional software of ROXIO functionality should not discriminate here Big car / small car - they use turn left when you turn the steering wheel left Why does ROXIO dumb down my images for no apparent reason? Be nice when you are asking for help yes, it matters. Why do you think that Walt is picking on you? The only snobbery going on here is in your response. I really don't understand why you came here for help and then chide/argue with the people who try to help. You are certainly welcome to pay Corel for support rather than to come here and abuse the users. I expect your response to be rather child like. Some programs/applications are designed to be down/dirty/easy. Those are programs that tend to have fewer options and don;t give you what you really want. Other programs are more difficult to use but they do give you better results. If you are not using "Edit Video-Advance" for your slide show, then you may not be getting what you want/need. You pay more for a large car than a small car; both will get you to where you want but there are other factors involved. Where did you get Creator Business HD? It is not a standard. Once you have your project finished, select to output the project to a video file. If you are going to play it on your computer, you can select one of the high definition formats; if you are going to burn it to a DVD then select the format for your DVD - high definition which will give you sharp images but must be played on an AVCHD or blu ray disc or standard definition which will be less sharp. The more the information you provide, the better the answers are and the fewer the questions.
