Creator De 10.2? Driver Update

Question

This Dell computer was purchased in Aug 2009. Roxio Creator DE 10.2 was installed (have CD). It came with Vista and was upgraded a few months later by Dell to Windows 7 Home Premium (which is 64 bit). As a result of the update I am not sure what version of Roxio I have. It seems to come up through Windows but not as a native program.

Last week's update by Windows caused STOP errors. Windows Verifier (of drivers) identifies several drivers that are pretty old; the Sonic Solutions one for Roxio is one of them. It is pxhlpa64.sys and is dated 10/17/2007.

Is there an update for this driver that is compatible with Win 7 SP1 of today?

Thanks for your help.

Definitely not on this site, I'm sorry. Your STOP errors probably arise from the fact that 10.2 isn't Windows 7 compatible, and this site doesn't have updaters for the OEM Dell versions of the software.

And yes, Creator DE 10.2 is really pretty old. You'll need to see if you can get a later version from Dell, or else buy a retail version that's compatible with Windows 7.

Regards,

Brendon
