KnightGW
I had been using Easy VHS to DVD for almost a week with no problems. However, this past Sunday it stopped working and now every time I go to start it back up I get the attached screen shot. Can anyone help me out with this? Jim_Hardin
Then let's try a more through version of it, step by step Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished. Download and install the Revo Uninstaller. Then run it in Moderate Mode to remove any traces of Roxio. Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. Now insert your Roxio Disc. Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows) When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot. Just so you know, it is a software breakdown and the fact that it just started indicates an update of something else is the most likely source... Video Card (Drivers or Software) are often an issue - notice how they seem to have an update every month Another culprit is a Registry Cleaner. They tend to be overzelious and I have never used one since my days with Win
sknis
What changed on your computer last Sunday? Use Windows Restore to get back to last Saturday. Typically addition of new software, the appearance of malware, a Windows update, new drivers for your video card, and even (in older cases) a registry cleaner could cause the problem. Just in case, turn off/ don't use any Registry Cleaner like system mechanic or Norton 360 registry cleaner. Do you remember if any of these took place. If restore doesn't work, turn OFF your antivirus and reinstall/repair the program.

KnightGW
Jim...thanks for all your help... Sadly, for some reason there was no restore point when all was happy...I think I am going to have to do a recovery of my system... But thanks anyway. Jim_Hardin
Before you do that... Consider adding another HDD and using that to add an OS then Roxio. It is low pain method to test with, assuming you have an OS disc

KnightGW
I was unable to restore to a point prior to Saturday.
