Then let's try a more through version of it, step by step ;)

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Download and install the
Uninstaller. Then run it in
Moderate Mode
to remove any traces of Roxio.

Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Just so you know, it is a software breakdown and the fact that it just started indicates an update of something else is the most likely source... Video Card (Drivers or Software) are often an issue - notice how they seem to have an update every month

Another culprit is a Registry Cleaner. They tend to be overzelious and I have never used one since my days with Win 95 -_-

What changed on your computer last Sunday? Use Windows Restore to get back to last Saturday.

Typically addition of new software, the appearance of malware, a Windows update, new drivers for your video card, and even (in older cases) a registry cleaner could cause the problem. Just in case, turn off/ don't use any Registry Cleaner like system mechanic or Norton 360 registry cleaner. Do you remember if any of these took place.

If restore doesn't work, turn OFF your antivirus and reinstall/repair the program.
