Josh222
When I hook it all up I plug the USB in and then 3/4 of my TV screen is red with a quarter black, then nothing at all apart from a slight crackling noise on my laptop. Any suggestions on how to fix this? (Xbox 360 using hdmi only).

0 Jim_Hardin
Not until you supply ALL of the details of how you are hooked up and the settings on the Xbox as well as your PC.
0 d_deweywright
Make sure you manually select the output you want the XBox to use, don't let it default because it may not select the right device. Force it to use the HDMI output, and select the resolution you want it to output. Also, tell us more about your laptop. What processor, speed, memory, free drive space, version of Windows. Make sure you have it plugged in, and not running on battery.
0 grandpabruce
The crackling noise, on your laptop, may not be a good thing. Could it be your laptop is going belly up? Just asking.
