sknis
I have origingal disc for Creator 9, now have Windows 7 computer, can not install. Why. After the long discussion above about clearly stating the version you have, you just post that you have Creator 9. If taken at face value, you have a free OEM version of the software. Do you? Programs compatible with W7: I'm afraid that you will need to update or get a different program. Note: If you do get it installed, it MAY work for awhile and then quit -- normally when you need it most. If it is an OEM then it was designed to work with your computer as sold so any changes in operating system would cause it not to work. If it is an OEM, you might want to see if you can get an update from you computer or other hardware manufacturer. Please no complaints about planned obsolescence; you chose to upgrade to W7. Brendon
I have a retail Roxio Creator 9 version 9.0.5, also known as Easy Media Creator 9 Deluxe installed and working under Windows 7. You can get it installed if you're persistent with a custom install and ignore all the warnings, but nothing is guaranteed (as Sknis' note suggests)
